lockdown |
| |
sorry i haven't blogged in a while. did you here that mason middle school had a lockdown???? (thats my school and it happened, like, last week!!!!) like, two minutes before the last bell rang, our princibal comes on the intercom and hes all like "Mason Middle School, we are going into lock down mode." i was in science class at the time and so my whole class thought it was a drill so we were all talking and laughing and stuff and then someones cellphone went off and we all started cracking up until my science teacher said "everyone, this is not a drill. i would have been alerted if it was a drill and i was not. and if anyone bursts in here with a gun, i will not get between you and those bullets. so shut up." that had the oppisite affect. everyone started panicing.right when some kids seemed about to cry, our princibal said that the lock down was over. by then it was, like, 3:30 and we get out at 2:45. we weren't aloud to go to our lockers even after that. when i went home, i watched the news and apparently an 8th grader brought a gun to school to trade for a PSP> wwweeeiiirrreeeddd.
P.S its sunday. aaauuuggghhh!!!!!!:(

Spring Break |
| |
today is the second to last day of spring break which TOTALLY sucks. its just as bad as sundays!!!! over spring break, i went to the junier daffodil parade to see my brother play his baritone for Mason Middle School's band. after that, i went to Ocean Shores for a few days and my brother and i each brought a friend. it was really windy and cold the whole time we were there, but it didn't rain until the day we left. when we went to ocean shores, we didn't get there until about 11:30 at night. that was because i stayed at a friends house and my brother had a swim meet so we got on the road really late. my dad didn't even get there until the next night because he's doing a play right now. when we got back from the ocean, i slept over at a friends house. i had to be picked up really early the next morning though because my family went to seattle to see the EMP (experience music program). on thursday and friday i did basically nothing, but today i got a haircut. i got about three inches off so now my hair hangs just below my shoulders and i got my hair relayered. i went to a new salon this time called Sublime. a friend talked about going there and i really like her hair so i decided to go there for a haircut. it was a really nice salon. when they wash your hair, you get to sit in a massage chair!:) so my spring break was pretty cool. l8ers!:)

bored |
| |
hey. i was SOOO bored today that i painted my nails. i barely ever do that because my fingernails are usely really short because i bite them. i painted my nails this insanely bright red-orange. the shade was called "Juicy Tomato". i also put a clear coat on over that. my toenails look so much better than my fingernails. i suck at painting my fingernails but my toenails look awesome. oh yeah, also we had a test in science today. i think i did pretty well on it. i didn't have time to blog last week, but last friday my science teacher drank his own blood then spit it out. i didn't really see the point in it. i didn't really actually see him drink it because i went out to the bathroom and threw up. i HATE blood and stuff. it creeps me out. but ANYway, our last question on our science test today was "*my science teachers name* drank blood last week. does that make him A. a vampire, of course. B. a normal teacher. C. An emo, just without the makeup or tight jeans. Or D. a crazy old teacher. i picked A. because i thought that it was funny and i'm reading the Twilight series again.

books |

hey. Tiger here. today i think that i have decided my favorite authors and the books that they wrote. all of them are at the same level, not one is, like, number one in my mind really but theres Stephenie Meyer for the Twilight series (vampires rock), Louis Sacher for Holes and Small Steps (VERY nicely written and descriptive), Carl Hiaasen for Hoot and Flush ( i want to read his new book Scat soon and his books are especially awesome because they talk about the enviroment), and Rick Riordan for the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series (i LOVE greek myths). so all you dudes rading my blogs, you should TOTALLY read these books! all of them are SOOOO cool! i know that there are a lot of other books that rock, but these have made my hall of fame. chat later. bye!☺

hey dudes. sorry i haven't blogged in a while. remember how i mentioned in one of my other blogs that i was going skiing? well, i just got back last weekend and it was AWESOME!!!!! it wasn't as snowy as last year but it was still SOOOOOOO cool!!!!! one of the many things i like about going to Winthrop, besides the skiing is all the wild life! like, in a twenty-minute drive from the edge of Twisp (a town by Winthrop) to Winthrop i counted one hawk, one golden eagle, seven bald eagles, and, i am SERIOSLY not kidding, twenty-six deer. there are deer EVERYWHERE in Wionthrop and Twisp!!!!! there are like, a BUNCH of horse farms in Winthrop and Twisp and almost everytime you pass them there'll be a minmum of two deer. it was REALLY amazingly, awesomely, AWESOME!!!!! well enough about skiing anyway. today i'm gonna go shopping. i want to get some sweat pants and a camisole at abercrombie, another pair of skinny jeans at Anchor Blue, and some new earrings at Claires. i already have, like, a BAJILLION pairs of earrings but oh well! anyways, ttyl! -Tiger

sundays and me >:( |
| |
today is sunday. i guess that doesn't sound TOO bad to some people. and sunday IS considered the day of rest. i just don't like sunday 'cause, even though its still the weekend, it reminds me i have to go to school tommorow. and its not like i hate school or anything, and i like all my teachers and friends alot, its just that it means i have to wake up early and be tired all day until its time to go to bed. also, sometimes its boring. not usally, but still.sometimes i wish people could just be naturally smart. at least next weekends going to be four days long. on friday my family is going to winthrup. its aplace in eastern washington thats REALLY snowy. every year we go there during presidents day weekend to go cross-country skiing. also what i like about going there is that every year when we go to winthrup, my older brother's friends family goes to their cabin in Twispt and my brothers friend has twin younger sisters who are a year older than me. so its really fun to see them there. Tiger out.

My okay day |
| |
yo. today i had an okay day. i had school which okay, just a little boring.my first period class is social studies. that class is okay. right now, we're learning about the Mayans and the Aztecs and the Incas. next i have language arts.my language arts teacher is really fun and she has a lot of different names for us like "puppies" and "honey bunnies" and "sweety peteies". It makes me feel nice. after that i have band. i might have told you i play trombone. its really random, but i named my trombone Svenlatta. the other trombone player's trombone's name is Brock. the other day we had a band asesment (a test where we play a song out loud to the class) on a scale. it was pretty easy and i scored a B. after band i have lunch. the lunches at my elementry school tasted really horrible but at my middle school they are SOOOOO good.i buy lunch once a week. after lunch we go outside for about twenty minutes. when i go back inside, i go to reading class. i guess thats an okay class too. after that i go to math. UGH!!! i am SOOOO bad at math. my tacher is really awesome and a great teacher but i just am naturally bad at math. after that i have science. right now we're studying the human body. it's kinda intersting, but i get REALLY squeemish when i even HEAR the word blood.after that, school is out and that is the end to my okay day.

Straight From A Kid's Mouth |
| |
Hey! I’m Tiger Other. This is my first time writing a blog and so I guess I should say a little bit about myself. I am almost twelve and in sixth grade. I love animals and my two top favorites are tigers and peacocks. I suck at math but love to read. My favorite sports are soccer and swimming. I play trombone in an intermediate band class. I think it’s kind of stupid how there are only two trombone players in a class of, like, seventy! Another thing I like to do is make jewelry. I have a million pairs of earrings that I’ve made. When I grow I three different things that I really want to do. Number one is to be an actress. I also want to be a singer and I think being a clothes designer would also be cool. At the middle school I go to, we have really dull dress code. We’re only allowed to wear a red or blue polo with khaki pants or jeans. Every girl at school looks exactly the same even though the dress code doesn’t state what kind of jeans or shoes we have to wear, or even to wear red or blue! But the majority of the sixth grade girls wear a blue polo shirt, dark wash skinny jeans, and Converse shoes or Ugg boots. And then when we have a free shirt day, they still look the same! Almost always an abercrombie sweater or a Hollister tee shirt! The only difference is the colors, which range from lime green to neon purple. Navy blue to hot pink. At least they have that much creativity! Well, I guess that’s the end of today’s blog entry. Thanks for listening! : )
